Bea Green is a retired Healthcare Administrator who started off in the Medical Records field and certified as an Accredited Records Technician. After several years as Director of Quality Assurance/Utilization Management, Bea was promoted to Hospital Administration as Vice President of Administrative and Clinical Services, where she spent the next twenty years. Looking for a change, she brought her Hospital experiences to the vendor world and for the next twenty two years worked for McKesson’s Information Services segment in Sales and Services and Hospitals became her clients.

Bea is the first generation Italian American. Her father was from Aragona, Sicily and as a young teenager worked in the sulfur mines and her mother was from Marsala, Sicily and the daughter of a Judge. Bea’s parents did not speak English and taught her to speak Italian (with the Sicilian dialect) before she learned English.

She has traveled to Sicily many times and always feels she has arrived home as soon as the plane touches Sicilian ground. Several visits have been with her (Irish) husband who only wants to travel to Sicily and no where else. She has many cousins of several generations still in Sicily and is looking forward to the next visit with them.

Bea has a degree in Data Processing from Northeastern University in Boston, MA and attended management classes at Lesley College in Cambridge, MA.

Bea and her husband reside in Scituate, MA, a small coastal town. She has three children and two grandchildren. Her family is her life!
